The Arbohaus is located in Southern France on an experimental site for architecture of 150 ha. on the highlands of Larzac at 700 m sea level. Despite of its isolation, there is an excellent connexion to the highway at 20 km, therefore the Mediterranean coast and cities like Beziers, Montpellier, Nimes, Narbonne et Carcassonne are in a range of one hour car drive. Utility services like shops, restaurants, schools and hospitals are 5 km (La Vacquérie) or 20 km (Lodeve, Gignac) away. A car or at least a bike is unavoidable!
